Considering to the occurrence of technological disruptions in Indonesia which have an impact on business transformation and innovation in various fields, especially in the fields of economics, accounting, management and technopreneurs which cause massive changes and change the entire order towards digitalization and form a new balance. Entering the 5.0 era, the first international conference ICEMAT 2023 raised the main theme, namely “Business strategy and continuous innovation to face challenges & opportunities in the digitalization era”.
The reason for Malaysia as a place to carry out this activity is that there are many offers of cooperation from universities in Malaysia in the fields of joint research, joint community service, further study, visiting professors and student exchanges, so that we ICEMAT committee, all of whom are Lecturers of Sangga Buana University located in Bandung – Indonesia, feel the need to get to know and see firsthand the city of Kuala Lumpur while adding insight into the city.

Indonesia is committed to ongoing transformation and improvement in order to compete with other countries. It is therefore essential that the government’s strategic policies are carefully considered and appropriately targeted, particularly in the management of natural resources and human resources. Human resources, as key actors in economic activities, would benefit from the support of effective leadership, robust leadership, and a spirit of innovation, which will undoubtedly contribute to sustainable development..
Despite these efforts, Indonesia still faces challenges that need to be addressed in order to achieve sustainable development. These include limited financial resources, weak regulatory enforcement, and conflicts between economic interests and environmental protection. It is therefore important to work together, in collaboration with the government, private sector, civil society organizations, and local communities, in order to overcome these challenges and to realize the development of regions, facilities, and infrastructure towards an archipelago with sustainable development in Indonesia.
In 2023, the Faculty of Economics of Universitas Sangga Buana Bandung had the honor of organizing the 1st International Conference of Economics, Management, Accounting, and Technopreneur. We extend a warm invitation to all authors to submit their outstanding works on various topics relevant to the conference theme. We welcome submissions in a variety of formats, including completed and ongoing research, reflections, and opinions, as well poster presentations. We extend an invitation to individuals with backgrounds in academia and applied fields, as well as from business, government agencies, non-governmental organizations, and educational institutions, to consider submitting research papers, reflections, posters, practitioner papers, panel proposals, or other contributions on topics related to the conference track. We also encourage interdisciplinary approaches to conference topics. To ensure the quality, relevance, and originality of the content, all submitted abstracts and articles will undergo a peer-review process.
In 2024, the Faculty of Economics of Universitas Sangga Buana is honored to organize the second annual international conference. We are honored to announce the 2nd International Conference of Economics, Management, Accounting and Technopreneur (2nd ICEMAT) 2024, which the theme : Sustainability Development : Encouraging Opportunities And Addressing Challenges.
We are honored to announce that the 2nd ICEMAT 2024 will feature speakers from various countries, including Malaysia, Thailand, Korea, Pakistan, and Indonesia, as the host. We are honored to have speakers present and discuss new ideas on a variety of topics, including sustainability, digitalization, innovation, business models, risk, and economic circularity. Their insights will be invaluable as we explore ways to create a sustainable and business-friendly environment that can spur economic growth.. The conference aspires to provide clear messages and significant breakthroughs in the rapid global economic recovery through green and blue economies. We would like to extend a cordial invitation to individuals with backgrounds in academia and applied fields, as well as from businesses, government agencies, non-governmental organizations, and educational institutions, to consider submitting research papers, reflections, posters, practitioner papers, or panel proposals on topics related to the track.
